The lovely summers and the ability to go to the beach is a such a benefit when studying in Newcastle
Working as an AIC/CHIC rover is very rewarding and has given me the opportunity to meet other like minded colleagues, of which some have become close friends.

What is a Rover? August 8, 2007

Filed under: rovers — uonlibnews @ 2:28 am

A Rover is an IT assistant in the AIC. Besides the Librarians, who like to help with the techie questions but sometimes lack the knowhow, the Rovers can help with software, hardware, and wireless access problems.

They keep things running throughout the cold nights, filling up the staplers, printers and cleaning equipment.

We love our Rovers and hope you do too.
