All Libraries are closed Good Friday 10 April,  Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April 2009.

Monday 13 & Tuesday 14 April Auchmuty & Huxley open 9am-5pm only, City closed, Ourimbah 10am-3pm.

AIC, CHIC and OIC closed Thursday 9 April  from 10pm reopen Monday13 April at 8am returning to 24/7

Studying: Masters of Pharmacy, Previously, Bachelor of Science, majored in chemistry.

Bio: Born and bred in Newcastle.  If I’m not studying or working, I’m probably dancing in Newcastle or Sydney.

Things that I’m known for: Dancing, being “the aic guy”, attending other faculty functions (med, law etc), spending most waking hours dancing or traveling to/from Sydney for dancing or living in the aic, having a red motorbike, enjoying water sports.

What I am: committed, organised, friendly and outgoing.

 

V Lockers March 11, 2009

New laptop lockers are now available for use in the AIC .
There are 20 lockers which students can use either to store  bags etc or recharge their laptops.

How does it work ?
Borrow a swipe card from the AIC desk. Then follow instructions on locker screen,  a locker is randomly allocated  to you for 3 hrs.
( fines apply for late return)

After Hour Access to Information Commons February 24, 2009

Night Owl Hours 24/7 during semesters
Services available include:
PC & Macs; Print/Copy facilities;
Rover IT support;
Access to Ready Reference Collection;
Book returns; Borrowing using Self-check loan unit.

Encoding your Studentcard
After 10pm the AIC & CHIC are swipe-card access only. To have your studentcard encoded take your card to the Information Desk in the AIC or CHIC. See Library staff about after hour access to Nyte Byte the Ourimbah Information Common.

Rover IT Support
Trained AIC support staff will move around the Information Common providing IT assistance and general information about Library Services.

Library Orientation Tours 2009 February 17, 2009

Orientation tours are conducted at the beginning of each Semester to help you find your way around the Auchmuty,Huxley and Ourimbah Libraries. These sessions take approximately 30 minutes and provide an overview of the resources and services available. you will not be eligible to receive your exam results and academic records.

Please check MyLibrary in NEWCAT to view any outstanding charges/fines, then see the Loans Desk to make any payments.

2008 Summary

Change colour of orange wall looks like off cheese
a Clock
colour photocopier
mirror in disabled toilet

Complaints about network during that dark period
Support vista
Selfish behaviour of others using the computers for non uni work/ reserving etc
Need for recycling bins

Love the rovers

Not so many complaints anymore about the autoloader/printing networks/ temperature

Still would love a change machine
